CallTools alternative

The CallTools alternative you can price without a call

CallTools is outbound call-centre software with a broad product: five dialing modes including predictive and parallel, its own contact management, SMS and email with templates, and more than forty direct integrations. It is a capable platform and the honest difference is not the feature list. It is that you cannot find out what any of it costs. The pricing page is a calculator that collects your agent count and weekly call volume and returns a quote; the FAQ answers about terms, minimum team size and subscription length all route to a platform specialist. smrtPhone publishes the seat price, the dialer tiers, the overage rates and every add-on.

No card required. No seat minimum.

The short version

  • CallTools publishes no prices. Its pricing page is a quote calculator that asks for your agent count and weekly calls, and the FAQ answers on terms and team size defer to a platform specialist.
  • CallTools runs five dialing modes - predictive, power, preview, progressive and parallel. smrtDialer is a power dialer running up to four lines and does not do predictive.
  • CallTools does send SMS: its product list includes CRM, SMS and email with templates. It is the one dialer in this segment that does.
  • CallTools lists more than forty direct integrations including Podio, DataSift, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho and Pipedrive. InvestorFuse, Left Main REI, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot, Tape and GoHighLevel are not among them.
  • smrtPhone publishes everything: $29 a seat, smrtDialer at $50 or $90, $0.03 a minute and $0.02 a segment over the included allowance.

The other side

When CallTools is the better choice

CallTools is the broader dialer of the two. Five dialing modes against our one, and predictive and parallel dialing are things smrtDialer does not do at all - for a seated floor working large campaigns that is the deciding feature. It carries more than forty direct integrations, its own contact management, SMS and email with templates, and campaign tooling built for volume. If you are running an outbound call floor rather than a CRM pipeline, it is built for your shape of work and smrtPhone is not.

  • You are running an outbound call floor rather than a CRM pipeline.
  • You need predictive or parallel dialing, not a four-line power dialer.
  • Your stack is broad and mainstream and you want forty integrations to choose from.
  • A quote from a sales call is a normal way for you to buy software.

Why CRM-led teams pick smrtPhone instead

  1. They could not get a price

CallTools asks for your agent count and weekly call volume and returns a quote. Its own FAQ sends questions about subscription terms and minimum team size to a platform specialist. If you are building a budget or comparing two products on a spreadsheet, that is an obstacle before you have tried anything.

    Every price and rate published
  2. The CRM was past their list

Forty direct integrations is a lot, and Podio and DataSift are both on it. InvestorFuse, Left Main REI, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot, Tape and GoHighLevel are not, and for an investor team those are usually the ones that decide it.

    Ten native CRM integrations
  3. They were not a call centre

Predictive and parallel dialing are built for a room of agents grinding a campaign list. A three-person acquisitions desk working a CRM pipeline wants the record in front of them and the call logged to it, which is a different tool and a different price.

What switching actually involves

Numbers port. If you are moving off a campaign-based setup, the thing to plan is the list: export your campaigns and load them into smrtDialer, and the calls and texts land on the record in your own CRM rather than in the dialer.

  1. Port your numbers. They move with you. Nobody has to learn a new number.
  2. Connect the CRM. Calls, texts, recordings and dispositions start writing to the record.
  3. Rebuild your call flows. Routing, ring groups, business hours and the DNC applet.
  4. Run both for a few days. Then move the dialing over once the logging looks right.

How long the port really takes

  • Porting takes one to three weeks once the paperwork is in and confirmed. It is faster when your current provider sits on the same underlying carrier we do, and slower if the paperwork comes back rejected over a detail that does not match your carrier record.
  • Support does the work. You start it from live chat and the team handles the submission.
  • Do not cancel your old provider until the port completes. Your number keeps working throughout.
  • Occasionally voice ports a few hours before texting does. It settles by itself.

Questions people ask before switching

How much does CallTools cost?

CallTools does not publish prices. Its pricing page is a calculator that asks how many agents you have and how many calls you make a week, then returns an estimate, and its FAQ says a platform specialist will explain the terms of your package. Nothing about the price, the minimum team size or the contract length is stated publicly. smrtPhone publishes all of it: $29 a seat a month, smrtDialer at $50 for one line or $90 for up to four, $0.03 a minute and $0.02 a text segment over the included allowance.

Does CallTools send text messages?

Yes. SMS and email with templates are part of the product, alongside its contact management. It is the one dialer in this part of the market that includes texting rather than leaving it to an integration. A smrtPhone seat includes SMS and MMS with 1,000 segments a month, then $0.02 a segment, written to your CRM record.

Which dials more ways?

CallTools, comfortably. It runs predictive, power, preview, progressive and parallel dialing. smrtDialer is a power dialer running one to four lines with AI voice detection, and does not offer predictive or parallel. For a seated floor on large campaigns that difference matters; for a team working a CRM pipeline, four lines with the record in front of you is usually the better fit.

Does CallTools integrate with my CRM?

It lists more than forty direct integrations, including Podio, DataSift, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics and Zapier. It does not list InvestorFuse, Left Main REI, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot, Tape or GoHighLevel. smrtPhone is native to all ten of those investor CRMs, with calls and texts written to the record.

Can I try CallTools before buying?

You request a demo or a quote first - there is no self-serve trial on the pricing page, and the FAQ describes a platform specialist walking you through the plan. smrtPhone has a 14-day free trial you can start yourself, at a price you can read before you start it.
