ReadyMode alternative
The ReadyMode alternative for teams that are not a call floor
ReadyMode, formerly XenCall, is call-centre software. It is a hosted predictive dialer with four dialing modes, its own CRM and compliance tooling, sold at $239 a licence a month on the entry plan and $299 on the next one, with a custom tier once you pass twenty seats. That is a serious product for a seated floor working huge lists. For a small team it is roughly twice the price of a smrtPhone seat with the four-line dialer, its texting comes from a third-party integration rather than the product, and of the investor CRMs it covers Podio, InvestorFuse and DataSift but not Left Main REI, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot, Tape or GoHighLevel.
No card required. No seat minimum.
The short version
- ReadyMode Starter is $239 a licence a month and iQ is $299, both billed monthly with 20% off annual. A smrtPhone seat with the four-line dialer is $119.
- ReadyMode is a predictive dialer with four dialing modes - preview, power, progressive and predictive. smrtDialer is a power dialer running up to four lines and does not do predictive.
- Texting is not in ReadyMode's own feature set. SMS appears in its integration directory through Nurture.ai, a third-party text-marketing platform.
- ReadyMode integrates with Podio, InvestorFuse, DataSift, REsimpli, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho and Pipedrive. Left Main REI, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot, Tape and GoHighLevel are not in its directory.
- Every ReadyMode licence includes up to 30 phone numbers on Starter and 75 on iQ. smrtPhone includes one a seat, then $2 to $5 each.

What it actually costs, with the arithmetic shown
One agent who dials all day, on monthly billing. Both vendors publish these figures, and the gap is wide enough that the interesting question is what the extra buys.
| Line item | ReadyMode | smrtPhone |
|---|---|---|
| Platform and dialer | Starter, $239 a licence - dialer included | smrtPhone seat $29, plus smrtDialer Multi Line $90 |
| Dialing | Preview, power, progressive and predictive | Power dialing, up to four lines |
| Phone numbers | Up to 30 included | 1 included, then $2 to $5 each |
| Texting | Not in the product | Included: 1,000 segments, then $0.02 |
| CRM | Its own, included | Yours, native to ten |
| Monthly total, one agent dialing | $239 | $119 |
Two things that gap is paying for. ReadyMode gives you predictive dialing, which smrtDialer does not do at all, and up to thirty phone numbers a licence where ours are $2 to $5 each - if you genuinely run thirty numbers for local presence, add about $60 to our column and the difference narrows to roughly $60. Annual billing takes their Starter to about $191. The comparison stops being close only if you do not need predictive dialing and do not need thirty numbers, which is most small teams but not all of them.
Both figures are published list prices. ReadyMode quotes $239 and $299 a licence billed monthly with up to 20% off annual plans; smrtPhone is $29 a seat monthly, or $24 yearly, with smrtDialer at $90 for up to four lines, or $75 yearly.
The other side
When ReadyMode is the better choice
ReadyMode is built for the call floor and it does that job properly. Predictive dialing is the clearest difference: smrtDialer is a power dialer that calls up to four lines and connects you to whoever answers, and for a seated floor grinding a list that is a different tool. It also runs preview, power and progressive modes, ships up to thirty phone numbers on the entry licence and seventy-five on the next, and carries a compliance centre and caller ID reputation work built for volume. If you are staffing a room of agents, that is what it is for.
- You are running a seated call floor rather than a CRM pipeline.
- You need predictive dialing, not a four-line power dialer.
- You want thirty or more numbers a seat for local presence.
- You do not already run a CRM and would use theirs.
Why smaller teams move off call-floor software
-
They were paying floor prices for a small team
ReadyMode is priced for a room: $239 a licence on Starter, $299 on iQ, with a custom tier once you pass twenty. A three-person acquisitions desk is buying call-floor software at call-floor rates. Three smrtPhone seats with the four-line dialer are $357 against $717.
One seat at $29, dialer from $50 -
They needed to text from the same place they call
Texting is not part of ReadyMode. Its integration directory carries Nurture.ai, a separate text-marketing platform, which means another subscription and another place the conversation lives. Every smrtPhone seat includes SMS and MMS with 1,000 segments, logged to the same record as the call.
Texting in every seat -
The CRM was past their list
ReadyMode covers Podio, InvestorFuse and DataSift, which is more of the investor stack than most. It does not cover Left Main REI, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot, Tape or GoHighLevel, and those are the ones that tend to decide it.
Ten native CRM integrations
Built into the CRM you already run
Calls, texts, recordings and dispositions land on the record they belong to, with no connector in between.

What I like most about SmrtPhone is how responsive and helpful their support team is. In fact, there have been instances during my onboarding that they have proactively reached out. They make the learning curve very easy to overcome.

What switching actually involves
Numbers port. If you are moving off a floor setup, the thing to plan is the number count: ReadyMode licences bundle up to thirty numbers each, and here numbers are bought individually at $2 to $5, so work out how many you actually use before you compare the bills.
- Port your numbers. They move with you. Nobody has to learn a new number.
- Connect the CRM. Calls, texts, recordings and dispositions start writing to the record.
- Rebuild your call flows. Routing, ring groups, business hours and the DNC applet.
- Run both for a few days. Then move the dialing over once the logging looks right.
How long the port really takes
- Porting takes one to three weeks once the paperwork is in and confirmed. It is faster when your current provider sits on the same underlying carrier we do, and slower if the paperwork comes back rejected over a detail that does not match your carrier record.
- Support does the work. You start it from live chat and the team handles the submission.
- Do not cancel your old provider until the port completes. Your number keeps working throughout.
- Occasionally voice ports a few hours before texting does. It settles by itself.
Questions people ask before switching
How much does ReadyMode cost?
Starter is $239 a licence a month and iQ is $299, both billed monthly, with up to 20% off for an annual plan and a custom quote once you need twenty or more licences. Starter can be bought without a demo. A smrtPhone seat is $29 a month with smrtDialer at $50 for a single line or $90 for up to four, so one agent dialing is $119 against $239.
Does ReadyMode send text messages?
Not as part of the product. Texting does not appear in its own feature set, and SMS shows up in its integration directory through Nurture.ai, a third-party text-marketing platform. A smrtPhone seat includes SMS and MMS with 1,000 segments a month, then $0.02 a segment, written to the CRM record alongside the calls.
Which dials faster?
ReadyMode, and it dials differently. It runs preview, power, progressive and predictive modes, and predictive is the one built for a seated floor working a large list. smrtDialer is a power dialer running one to four lines with AI voice detection. If predictive dialing is what you need, ReadyMode has it and we do not.
Does ReadyMode integrate with my CRM?
It covers a good part of the investor stack: Podio, InvestorFuse and DataSift, alongside REsimpli, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive and Zapier. It does not list Left Main REI, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot, Tape or GoHighLevel. smrtPhone is native to all ten, with calls and texts written to the record.
Is smrtPhone cheaper than ReadyMode?
For a small team, by about half: $119 a month for one agent dialing four lines against $239 for a ReadyMode Starter licence. The honest qualifier is that their licence includes predictive dialing we do not offer and up to thirty phone numbers where ours are $2 to $5 each. If you need thirty numbers, add roughly $60 to our side and the gap narrows.
