REDX alternative

The REDX alternative you can buy without the lead bundle

REDX sells seller leads to listing agents - expired listings, for-sale-by-owner, for-rent-by-owner, pre-foreclosures and GeoLeads - with its own Vortex CRM, postcards, a Facebook and Instagram ad builder, and a power dialer wrapped around them. It publishes every price, which Vulcan7 does not, and its own FAQ says plainly that you do not have to use its dialer. That is the honest shape of this comparison. REDX is a data business; the dialer is an upgrade on a lead bundle, it is WAVV resold under the REDX name, it runs three lines rather than four, it sells no texting at all, and the CRMs it connects to are listing-agent tools rather than the investor stack.

No card required. No seat minimum.

The short version

  • REDX bundles are $199 a month for Core, $299 for Connect and $349 for Pro, or $1,990, $2,980 and $3,480 a year. A single lead type on its own is $60 a month.
  • Core has no dialer. The dialer is a $99 upgrade for one line or $149 for three, which is why Connect is $299 and Pro is $349 - the $199 of lead data comes with it either way.
  • REDX sells no texting. The dialer page lists local presence, whitelisting, DNC flagging, spam monitoring and call recording, and no SMS anywhere.
  • The dialer is not built by REDX. Its own page says REDX is an authorised reseller of WAVV with a native integration, and that it also integrates with other dialers.
  • Its integration list is listing-agent CRMs: Lofty, CINC, Top Producer, Wise Agent, Bold Trail and Follow Up Boss. Of the investor stack only GoHighLevel is there, under its Lead Connector name.

What the dialing actually costs, with the arithmetic shown

One person dialing multiple lines, on monthly billing, counting only the calling. Both vendors publish these figures. REDX prices its dialer separately from its data, so this compares dialer to dialer rather than a bundle to a seat.

Monthly cost of REDX and smrtPhone for the same workload
Line item REDX smrtPhone
Multi-line dialer Multi-Line Power Dialer, 3 lines - $149 smrtPhone seat $29, plus smrtDialer Multi Line $90, 4 lines
Single-line option Single Line Power Dialer - $99 smrtPhone seat $29, plus smrtDialer Single Line $50
Talk time Unlimited, no per-minute charges 500 minutes a seat, then $0.03. Unlimited at $99 a seat
Texting Not sold Included: 1,000 segments, then $0.02
CRM Vortex, from the bundle underneath Yours, native to ten
Seller leads All five types, on the bundle underneath Not sold
Monthly total, one person dialing multiple lines $149 $119

Two things that number hides, one each way. On the pricing page the $149 exists only as an upgrade to the $199 Core bundle, so the actual bill is $349 - but that buys the lead data as well, which we do not sell, so comparing it to $119 would not be fair and this table does not. The other way: REDX includes unlimited talk time and we meter at $0.03 after 500 minutes, so a full-time prospector past roughly 1,000 minutes a month closes the gap, and past 3,300 our $99 unlimited seat is the one to price instead.

Both figures are published list prices. REDX quotes $99 for the single-line dialer and $149 for the three-line, with bundles at $199, $299 and $349 a month; smrtPhone is $29 a seat monthly, or $24 yearly, with smrtDialer at $50 for a single line and $90 for up to four, or $75 yearly.

The other side

When REDX is the better choice

If your day is expired listings and for-sale-by-owner calls, REDX puts the leads, the dialer, the CRM, the postcards and the ad builder on one bill, and nothing here replaces the data half of that. Two specifics worth pricing before you move: the dialer includes unlimited talk time with no per-minute charges, where a smrtPhone seat includes 500 minutes and meters the rest at $0.03, and Ad Builder comes free with any dialer subscription, pushing Facebook and Instagram campaigns at the same homeowners you are calling and refreshing the audience daily. smrtPhone offers nothing equivalent to either.

  • Your day is expired listings and for-sale-by-owner calls.
  • You want the leads, the dialer and the CRM on one bill from one vendor.
  • You are on the phone all day and unlimited talk time beats metered minutes.
  • You run Facebook and Instagram ads against the same list you dial.
  • You do not run a CRM outside the one your lead provider gives you.

If the seller leads are what you are buying

REDX is a data business before it is a phone business, and it is candid about it - its own dialer FAQ answers "Do I need to use your dialer?" with "No", and its integration list carries Mojo Dialer and Prospect Boss alongside the CRMs. smrtPhone sells no seller lead lists: no expireds, no for-sale-by-owner, no pre-foreclosures. Our own data product, smrtLeads, skip traces and cleans contact data rather than selling lists, and it is in beta. If the leads are the reason you subscribe, the products to weigh against each other are REDX, Vulcan7 and Mojo Dialer, all three of which sell the listing-agent data set.

We are the alternative for the conversation half. Keep buying the leads, export the list, and run the calls and texts here so both land on the record in the CRM your team already uses.

Why CRM-led teams run the calling separately

  1. They only wanted the dialer

REDX prices the dialer as an upgrade to a lead bundle, so the cheapest route to one line is $299 a month and to three lines $349, with $199 of lead data attached whether or not you want it. smrtDialer is a per-seat add-on at $50 or $90 on top of a $29 seat, and only the people who actually dial pay for it.

    Dialer from $50 a seat
  2. They needed to text

Prospecting is follow-up, and most follow-up that lands is a text. REDX sells none - the dialer page covers local presence, whitelisting, DNC flagging, spam monitoring and recording, and no SMS. Every smrtPhone seat includes SMS and MMS with 1,000 segments, logged to the same record as the call.

    Texting in every seat
  3. The CRM was a listing-agent CRM

Lofty, CINC, Top Producer, Wise Agent, Bold Trail and Follow Up Boss are the tools a listing agent runs, and REDX connects to all of them. An investor team on Podio, Left Main REI, InvestorFuse, DataSift, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot or Tape finds none of those on the list - GoHighLevel is the only one, and it appears under its Lead Connector name.

What switching actually involves

Numbers port. If you buy your leads from REDX you can keep doing that and dial them here: export the list and load it into smrtDialer, and the calls and texts land on your own CRM record rather than in Vortex.

  1. Port your numbers. They move with you. Nobody has to learn a new number.
  2. Connect the CRM. Calls, texts, recordings and dispositions start writing to the record.
  3. Rebuild your call flows. Routing, ring groups, business hours and the DNC applet.
  4. Run both for a few days. Then move the dialing over once the logging looks right.

How long the port really takes

  • Porting takes one to three weeks once the paperwork is in and confirmed. It is faster when your current provider sits on the same underlying carrier we do, and slower if the paperwork comes back rejected over a detail that does not match your carrier record.
  • Support does the work. You start it from live chat and the team handles the submission.
  • Do not cancel your old provider until the port completes. Your number keeps working throughout.
  • Occasionally voice ports a few hours before texting does. It settles by itself.

Questions people ask before switching

How much does REDX cost?

A single lead type is $60 a month, or $600 a year. The bundles are Core at $199 a month for all five lead types with Vortex and postcards but no dialer, Connect at $299 which adds Ad Builder and a single-line power dialer, and Pro at $349 which upgrades that to three lines. Billed annually those are $1,990, $2,980 and $3,480. Extra users are $75 a month each, or $99 on Pro. smrtPhone is $29 a seat a month with smrtDialer at $50 for a single line or $90 for up to four.

Can I buy the REDX dialer without the leads?

Not from the pricing page. The dialer is quoted at $99 for a single line and $149 for three, but both appear as upgrades to the $199 Core bundle, which is why the plans that include a dialer are $299 and $349. smrtDialer is a per-seat add-on on a $29 seat, so one person dialing four lines is $119 and nobody pays for data they are not using.

Does REDX send text messages?

No. Texting appears nowhere in the product. The power dialer page lists local presence, whitelisted numbers, unlimited talk time, DNC flagging, agent number filtering, spam monitoring, spam remediation and call recording, and no SMS. A smrtPhone seat includes SMS and MMS with 1,000 segments a month, then $0.02 a segment, written to the CRM record alongside the calls.

Which dials more lines?

smrtPhone, by one. smrtDialer runs up to four lines with AI voice detection; the REDX Multi-Line Power Dialer runs three and is rated at up to 300 dials an hour. Worth knowing either way: the REDX dialer is WAVV resold - its own page says REDX is an authorised reseller of WAVV with a native integration.

Does REDX integrate with my CRM?

With the listing-agent ones. Its directory carries Lofty, CINC, Top Producer, Wise Agent, Bold Trail (kvCORE), Follow Up Boss and Zero to Diamond, plus Sisu, ArchAgent, Mojo Dialer and Prospect Boss. Of the investor CRMs only GoHighLevel is covered, and it appears under its white-label name, Lead Connector. Podio, DataSift, Left Main REI, InvestorFuse, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot and Tape are not there. smrtPhone is native to all ten, with calls and texts written to the record.

Is smrtPhone a replacement for REDX?

Only for half of it, and REDX says as much itself - its dialer FAQ answers "Do I need to use your dialer?" with "No", and its integration list includes two rival dialers. smrtPhone sells no seller lead lists: no expireds, no for-sale-by-owner, no pre-foreclosures - smrtLeads, in beta, skip traces and cleans data rather than supplying it. If the leads are why you subscribe, keep buying them and dial them here, with the conversation landing in your own CRM.
